We condemn the ballistic missile launch conducted by the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) on 4 July 2017.

As the previous ones, this launch also constitutes a flagrant violation of UN Security Council Resolutions.

These continued missile launches clearly demonstrate DPRK’s persistence in lack of respect to its international obligations and norms of behaviour.

The DPRK must abide by the calls which are expressed in the UNSC resolutions, and should refrain from any action that would lead to escalation in the region.
